Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 September 2026
By accessing or using CarPedia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Content and intellectual property
Content on this site (text, layout, tools and compiled data) is for your personal, non-commercial use. You are welcome to share links to our pages freely. Reproducing, republishing or scraping substantial portions of our content without written permission is not allowed. Car photographs are used under their respective licences — see the attribution on each car page.
2. User submissions
If you submit a review, message or other content:
- it must be your own work, truthful, lawful and respectful — no spam, abuse, or personal data of other people;
- you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, moderate and format it on the site;
- we may edit, reject or remove submissions at our discretion, without notice;
- submitted reviews represent their authors' opinions, not ours (see our Disclaimer).
3. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security measures, scrape it aggressively, submit spam or malicious content, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may block or restrict access that abuses the site.
4. Third-party services and links
The site may use third-party services (for example analytics) and link to external websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
5. Liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. See also our Disclaimer.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the current terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
